Drivio

Driver-priced ride-hailing

Drivers set the price. You choose the ride.

The person driving names the fare and keeps 100% of it, so riders pay less with no commission in the middle. Every driver is identity-verified, and you compare live offers by price, arrival and rating before you choose.

How Drivio works

One marketplace. Two fair deals.

Riders get verified drivers and a fairer price with no commission. Drivers keep every naira they earn. The same trip, fair on both sides.

For riders

Request once, choose from many

  1. 01

    Set your pickup and destination

Your location resolves automatically, or drop the pin yourself.

  2. 02

    Offers arrive within 60 seconds

Nearby verified drivers see your trip and respond with their own price.

  3. 03

    Compare and choose

Line up offers by price, arrival and rating, and see what each car offers before you commit.

  4. 04

Ride with people watching over you

Your fare is locked with no surge, and you can share a live link so trusted people follow the whole trip.

  5. 05

    Pay cash, keep it simple

The fare is agreed before pickup and paid in cash at the end. Because drivers keep 100%, the price stays fair.

The model

Commission was the old way.

Ride-hailing has always paid the platform first. Drivio flips the order: drivers pay a flat fee for access, and the fare belongs to the person who drove for it.

Per-trip commission apps

  • The platform takes 20–30% of every fare
  • The more trips you complete, the more you pay
  • An algorithm sets the price; riders and drivers both take what they get
  • Surge pricing appears without warning

Of a ₦10,000 driving day

up to ₦3,000

Drivio

  • One flat subscription from ₦2,500 a day is all Drivio earns from drivers
  • ₦0 taken per trip, no matter how many you complete
  • Drivers name the fare; riders choose between real offers
  • No surge. Prices move only because people set them

Of a ₦10,000 driving day

₦0

taken per trip. Your plan already covered access.

Driver subscriptions are Drivio's only driver revenue. There is no hidden math anywhere in the product.

Safety and trust

Verified people. Watched-over trips.

A marketplace only works when both sides can trust it. Drivio verifies identity, inspects documents and keeps human judgment in the loop.

  • Every driver fully verified

BVN and NIN identity checks plus a live selfie match before any driver can accept a single trip.

  • Documents, humanly reviewed

Driver's licence, vehicle registration, insurance and road-worthiness, checked by people, not just software.

  • Approved vehicles only

Each car is reviewed and approved before it appears in your offers, and one active vehicle is tied to each driver.

  • Share your trip live

Send a live trip link to the people who care so they can follow your ride from pickup to drop-off.

  • SOS, two seconds away

Hold the SOS button during any active trip to raise a safety alert, with trusted contacts kept on file.

  • People behind the platform

Suspensions are reviewed by a human team with a real appeal process. No silent, automated bans.

Questions

Asked, answered.

For riders

How do I know the price is fair?

You see several drivers' offers side by side before anything is booked, with each driver's rating, vehicle and arrival time next to their price. You pick the offer. Nothing is assigned to you.

Is there surge pricing?

No. Drivio never multiplies fares. Drivers set their own prices, and the fare you accept is locked before pickup.

Can I pay cash?

Yes. Every Drivio trip is paid in cash: the fare is locked when you accept an offer, and you pay your driver directly at the end of the trip.

All rider questions

For drivers

How much does Drivio cost?

Access is a flat subscription: ₦2,500 daily, ₦15,000 weekly or ₦50,000 monthly. New drivers start with a 90-day free trial once verification is approved, and you can switch plans at any renewal.

Do you take a cut of my fares?

No. Drivio takes ₦0 per trip. The fare a rider pays is exactly what you earn; the subscription is the only thing you ever pay Drivio.

How do I get paid?

In cash, at the end of every trip. The fare is agreed upfront and riders pay you directly. Drivio never touches your fare money.
